The Eye Line
A thin line of light right under the camera. The line you're reading always sits there, so your eyes stay on the lens and your viewers feel you're talking to them.

At a glance
Scrollglass is a teleprompter app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. It keeps your script right under the camera, scrolls it as you speak, and saves every take, even if the app closes mid-take.
How it works
Two taps from your script to your first take. No account, no setup, no tutorial. The defaults are already the right ones.
Paste it, import a PDF, RTF, Markdown or text file, or send it from any app or AI chat with the “Send to Scrollglass” shortcut.
The Eye Line keeps the line you're reading right under the camera. On video, you're looking at your audience, not at a script.
A countdown, then the text follows your voice. Stop, and the take is already in Photos. Retake as many times as you like.
Voice follow
Speak, and the text keeps up. Stop to think, and it waits. Skip a sentence, and it catches up. Ad-libs don't move a thing.
A simulation of voice follow. In the app, it listens to your microphone, on your device.
Every take is safe
Scrollglass saves your video while you record, in one-second pieces. If a call comes in, the app closes or your battery dies, everything up to that second is kept.
Sound-only mode
Turn the camera off and every take is sound only. Scrollglass never turns the camera on, or even asks for it. You still get voice follow and crash-safe recording.
The prompter
Everything you need to read naturally on camera, and nothing you have to set up first.
A thin line of light right under the camera. The line you're reading always sits there, so your eyes stay on the lens and your viewers feel you're talking to them.
3, 5 or 10 seconds before every take, so you're ready when it starts.
Need it to last exactly a minute? Pick a time and the speed sets itself so the script ends on time.
Steady scrolling at a speed you set in words per minute, not a mystery slider.
Narrow the text so your eyes barely move away from the lens.
Prompt mode shows the script on its own. Flip it mirrored or upside down for beam-splitter teleprompter glass.
Set the text size and pick Sans, Serif or Rounded. Rehearse out loud before you record: rehearsing is free forever.
10 languages
The whole app is translated into 10 languages, and Arabic gets a true right-to-left layout. Your scripts can be in any language. Voice follow works in 9 of them, depending on your device; in Ukrainian and every other language, the text scrolls at a steady speed you choose.
One purchase
Buy once and use it on your iPhone, iPad and Mac. Family Sharing is on, so your family can use it too.
The Eye Line sits right under the front camera. Record yourself anywhere, with the text a glance from the lens.
A bigger prompter for desks, studios and glass rigs, with mirrored text in Prompt mode.
On a Mac with Apple silicon, Scrollglass runs as the iPad app. Same app, same purchase, no extra cost.
Requires iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later, or a Mac with Apple silicon and macOS 26 or later.

Yes. Voice follow uses Apple's on-device speech recognition, so it works without an internet connection and nothing you say leaves your device. The first time you use a language, your device may need to download Apple's speech model for it.

You keep the take. Scrollglass saves video in one-second pieces while you record, so a crash, a phone call or a dead battery keeps everything up to that second. The next time you open the app, it shows the take it recovered.
Every take goes straight to Photos. Scrollglass asks only for permission to add photos, so it can never see the rest of your library. Sound-only takes are saved as audio files in the Files app.
